FIRM OVERVIEW

Profile & Background

Al-Jadaan & Partners Law Firm (“Al-Jadaan” or the “Firm”) is a Saudi Arabian Professional Partnership founded by Yousef Al-Jadaan and Mohammed Al-Jadaan in 1996.  Since its inception, Al-Jadaan has grown to a staff of over 40 including 19 lawyers in its office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  At its current size and notwithstanding envisioned future growth, the Firm is already one of the largest law firms in Saudi Arabia.

Al-Jadaan has an exceptional team of leading Saudi Arabian and international lawyers, and aims to provide responsive, considered and seasoned legal counsel, of an international calibre, to its clients (see Attorney Profiles below).  Al-Jadaan’s lawyers have extensive experience in Saudi regulatory and governmental representation/liaison as well as in acting for multi-lateral lenders, investment/commercial banks and major corporates, inter alia, in diverse practice areas including Banking & Finance (e.g., Islamic finance, including work on the largest Islamic financing transaction ever consummated), project and asset finance, securitizations, structured finance, restructuring), Corporate Law (e.g., mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, restructuring and general corporate advice), Privatization and Dispute Resolution/International Arbitration (see Practice and Experience below). 

Through a co-operation agreement between Al-Jadaan and Clifford Chance LLP (“Clifford Chance”) the worldwide resources, extensive data and diverse experience base of Clifford Chance augment Al-Jadaan’s Saudi Arabian experience.  Through this symbiotic relationship, Al-Jadaan and Clifford Chance have worked together closely for about a decade on large-scale energy, infrastructure and project finance projects and on a broad range of matters including regulatory, general banking, corporate/commercial and litigation matters.  This tried and tested working relationship between Al-Jadaan and Clifford Chance is further complemented and synchronized by long term secondments of lawyers between the firms.
