We are well versed in advising on the application of the Investment Funds Regulations and the Real Estate Investment Funds Regulations issued by the Capital Market Authority and are in regular contact with them concerning developments in this area. We have the leading privatisation practice in Saudi Arabia. Notable recent mandates include the award winning privatisation of the Shuaibah IWPP and Shuqaiq IWPP, Ras Az Zawr IWPP and the award winning privatisation of the catering division of Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation, followed by the privatisation of its cargo division. We have also advised the Ministry of Water and Electricity on its privatisation of waste water treatment plants in Riyadh, the Ministry of Water and Electricity in connection with the privatisation (PPP) of the water distribution and waste water collection services in Saudi Arabia and the Saudi Government and its subsidiaries in relation to the privatisation of water and power plants including Shuaibah and Shuqaiq IWPPs, the expansion of the water desalination capacity of the Shuaibah IWPPs, and Ras Az Zawr IWPP.
Our corporate and commercial practice offers value adding advice to the significant number of clients requiring advice on establishing a presence in the Kingdom. In the recent past, we have advised several international banks in connection with establishing a branch in Saudi Arabia and have advised several foreign companies in connection with foreign investment regulations and the structuring and establishment of local entities in the form of an LLC, branch or joint stock company.
